The only way is to run the installation program on the CD and select uninstall.īy the way, my Motherboard is Asus P8H67 Mpro with i5 2500K. I also discovered that the utility cannot be removed via control panel as it will hang. I cant find any new drivers from ASUS nor Broadcom because the device is plug-and-play into PCIE slot. The update does not even allow me to connect to the internet because the device cannot start (Code 10). Prior to that, I have installed the latest utility from Asus website, which also doesn't work. I just updated to the Fall Creators Update of Windows 10. not able to achieve wireless ac expected speed. It is worse than my linksys AE3000, which able to achieve around 200Mbps.Īfter several hours of trying, I decided to uninstall everything.Īnd surprisingly, after that, the USB-AC56 is working fine without the Asus utility, just that speed test result is around 200Mbps,i.e. On occasion the utility is running and I managed to connect to my router, Asus RT-AC56S on M1 1Gbps plan, the speed test result was terrible, not exceeding 50Mbps. My PC will hang intermittently while trying to get a connection, or when I try to uninstall, or close and re-open Asus utility. I am on win 7 64 bit and also having the some issues with Asus utility for USB-AC56.
